Krome Records drops ‘Wild’ by Klement Bonelli feat. Robert Owens this May, featuring two interpretations from Agoria and Torre Bros.Lyon, France based Krome Records returned from Hiatus in 2011, with releases and remixes from the likes of Robert Owens, Agoria, Santos and Pastaboys. The label was founded by, DJ & Producer, Klement Bonelli in 2006, as a platform for releasing deep, underground electronic music. Bonelli’s infectious grooves have seen him release original content and remixes for reputable imprints such as Strictly Rhythm, Defected and Toolroom.
The release kicks off with the ‘Agoria Edit’ of ‘Wild’, which sees the French house maestro delve deep into gritty saw wave synths, raw 909 drums, electric Piano’s and emotive strings. Robert Owen’s signature vocal lines meander around the sturdy groove brilliantly, as baroque variations in the structure and subtle percussive additions create a dark, enticing house cut.
Closing is Torre Bros rework of ‘Wild’, embracing a more stripped aesthetic this time, with simple yet effective drums and pulsating sub tones, while the focal point of the track introduces heady, dub techno style chords resulting in a driving slow bloomer.
