DEFECTED SET TO LAUNCH NEW SHOW ON SIRIUSXM

“HOUSE MUSIC ALL LIFE LONG” WILL DELIVER A TWO-HOUR BESPOKE SHOW EACH MONTH ON DIPLO’S REVOLUTION CHANNEL 52

INAUGURAL SHOW AIRS THIS SUNDAY, MARCH 7 AT 10PM ET

REBROADCAST ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10 AT 1 AM ET

Defected are set to make their US radio show debut on the satellite bastion of dance music, SiriusXM on March 7.  “House Music All Life Long” will be an immersive escape designed with only one purpose in mind – to deliver listeners directly into the sweet bosom of house music for two full hours each month.

The new show will air monthly on Diplo’s Revolution Channel 52 and is already an eagerly anticipated addition to the channel’s roster. With a wide-ranging listenership, House Music All Life Long will spread the unifying message of inclusion to an eagerly awaiting US audience, while Defected continue their not-so-secret mission to transform the world into a dancefloor. Diplo has been a staunch supporter of Defected music and artists across his radio shows and platforms for many years, and he had this to say about taking on the upfront new show.

Defected has always been a staple for house music and they continue to push the genre forward.  It’s been great to showcase their releases these last few years on the channel and I’m excited to bring this show to Diplo’s Revolution.”

In addition to bringing new and exclusive music from established artists to House Music All Life Long, Defected will also provide a platform for rising talent from around the globe to be discovered and heard. Listeners can expect a real diversity of music that celebrates the gleaming facets of house music- in all its forms- and enjoy additional one-off shows and specialty broadcasts that will satiate any house-heads’ musical appetite.

“We are delighted to be launching our new House Music All Life Long show on Diplo’s Revolution on SiriusXM. We have been fans of the station and the channel from afar, and to make our US radio debut here is a pleasure. We look forward to providing our US fans with the sounds of Defected and family on ‘House Music All Life Long’.” Wez Saunders, Managing Director Defected Records.

Defected has already established itself as a new era music company, taking on the challenges of the pandemic head-on by delivering state-of-the-art virtual festivals that have raised millions of dollars for charity and brought a global community together like never before. These festivals were the impetus to the radio show as Defected diligently worked to find ways to engage and connect with the global dance music community in a time of crisis.  Being able to connect people together while in isolation was, and continues to be, a powerful resource that many say helps them stave-off depression and soothes their mental health.

House Music All Life Long will air March 7 at 10 pm ET on Diplo’s Revolution channel 52 (SiriusXM).
