Spanish imprint Soul Notes releases the second volume of it’s ‘The Many Shades of Soul Notes EP’ in May featuring Crue, Kasper, Adryiano and Kirill Tipo all delivering dancefloor focused analog deep house.
Much like Volume 1. Of ‘The Many Shades of Soul Notes’, which featured contributions from Fulbert, Kastil, Malin Genie and Jefferson Belmondo, Vol 2. features the label’s close friends and associates and is a shinning example of no-nonsense house music.
From the urgent, techno leanings of Crue’s ‘VCO Mfkr’ to the classic deep house tones of Kasper’s ‘Deeper Love’ the a-side alone is a winner but paired with Adryiano’s skipping, key- licked Garage of ‘One My Side’ and Kirill Tipo’s dominating drums and rich synth brass of ‘Free Falling’ on the flip, this is an essential 12”.
The Many Shades of Soul Notes Vol. 2 is released on Soul Notes late-May 2013.
